Research writing is only useful if everyone can read it. Here is how we approach that.
Seravienne is built to follow the widely used WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines as a practical target. We are a small independent team, so we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a finished checkbox, and we review the site as we add new pages and features.
Clear structure
Every page uses proper headings and a logical reading order, so screen readers and keyboard users can navigate the content without guessing.
Readable by default
We aim for strong text contrast, generous line spacing, and a comfortable base font size that holds up on small screens.
Keyboard friendly
Links, buttons, and interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with visible focus states.
Descriptive links and images
Links describe where they lead, and images carry meaningful alternative text rather than decorative filenames.
